EDS Motorsport Opel Astra

EDS Motorsport has unveiled a new tuning package for the redesigned Opel Astra J. Designed to blow away the competition, the 1.6-liter turbo has been outfitted with a high-performance needle valve (€980), higher-quality connecting rods (€550), larger fuel injectors (€500), and an HG Motorsport turbo manifold (€1,200). Furthermore, the company installs a Garret GT28 turbocharger (€1,000), a custom intercooler (€600), a 100mm air-flow meter (€300), a 7mm downpipe (€800), and a stainless steel sport exhaust system (€800). Opel Astra Sport Tourer by Irmscher

Irmscher has released the first pictures of their tuning package for the 2011 Opel Astra Sports Tourer. While details are limited, the car features a front lip spoiler, a revised grille, aggressive side skirts, and a larger rear spoiler. Other goodies include a lowered suspension (which reduces ride height by 30mm) and 18-inch “Turbo Star” wheels (20-inchers are optional). Read more…
