Each unit is entirely hand-fabricated by Forge’s time-served craftsmen here in the UK, and uses motorsport-quality materials and fabrication methods to create a unit which is both hugely effective and aesthetically pleasing at the same time.

The Forge actuator is precision CNC machined from a solid aluminium billet and features an adjustable rod and custom fabricated bracket to allow it to be bolted into the factory position as a direct replacement for the original part. With a range of internal springs available, it is the perfect way to allow higher boost levels to be run after other modifications such as ECU remapping have been carried out.

The RIEGER Corsa D has far greater appeal thanks to its stylish front spoiler lip extensions and attractive side skirts. Out back, there is a modified rear bumper, a new rear diffuser, and a sport exhaust system with dual oval tailpipes. RIEGER also equipped the car with a KW coilover suspension kit and 19-inch Brock 17 RC white-polished alloy wheels.

Both styling kits are constructed from high-quality ABS plastic and are TÜV approved.

The selection of styling elements for the Corsa D is difficult. Now JMS create a new Racelook front lip spoiler for this car (euro 209). The part is easy to fit in a short time on the original front bumper. Other parts for the Corsa like bodykit, exhausts, air filter systems, etc can be found on the JMS racelook catalog.

Known as the Corsa and Astra VX Racing Editions, they will have a combined production run of 888 cars. And that number just happens to coincide with the name of Vauxhall’s race experts, Triple Eight Engineering, who build and prepare all the VX Racing Cars and contributed so much to Vauxhall’s triumph in the BTCC last season when it won the BTCC’s Drivers’, Manufacturers’ and Team championships.

As well as sharing the VX Racing team colours of red and black, all VX Racing Editions gain full leather Recaro seats as standard. The VX Racing theme continues outside the car with logos on the B-posts and tread plates, too.

And just to make sure that you’d never mistake a VX Racing Edition from an ‘ordinary’ Corsa or Astra VXR, tinted rear glass, a black rear diffuser and black side bump strips and door mirror covers are all part of the package. In addition, the Astra version gains Piano Black interior décor strips.

We’re also sure that VX Racing’s drivers, Giovanardi, Neal and Jordan would appreciate the gloss-black alloy wheels – 18″ for Corsa, 19″ for Astra – that come as standard on all VX Racing Editions.

Finally, for that authentic VX Racing soundtrack – as well as up to 20PS extra power – all VX Racing Edition buyers will have the option of purchasing a Remus exhaust system at a discounted price. For Astras, that means £720 (saving £275) and for Corsas, £410 (saving £150). Buyers will also benefit from a healthy discount on other Vauxhall Performance Centre parts and accessories.

Corsa and Astra VX Racing Editions are available to order now through all Vauxhall retailers, costing £17,425.00 and £21,445 respectively.

First the car gets a coilover kit with lowering 50mm in the front and 40mm in the back. Price for the coilover kit is 489 Euro. The wheels are from Zender in 16 inch with 195/45 R16 tyres, this wheels are no longer available because Zender stopped production.

For the new look JMS fits a full body kit which consists of : Racelook Frontbumper (Euro 299), and a rear apron (199 Euro ) with cutouts for the exhaust systems. Customers can use all exhaust
systems with maximum tips dual 4×80 or on one side 2x80mm.

Engine/Silencer: The already powerful engine, developing 141kW/192HP as standard, has been coaxed by the Steinmetz engineers into giving a further 7kW/10HP thanks to the use of the new left/right silencer system. This exhaust is also available for the central silencer arrangement. So the “little” Corsa OPC by Steinmetz, with its hefty 202 HP, is ready for the sprint.

Suspension: The Steinmetz lowering kit brings the Corsa OPC by Steinmetz 30 mm nearer to the tarmac. “A few“ millimetres which reduce the vehicle’s roll tendency and lower the centre of gravity. These two elements together give the Corsa OPC by Steinmetz even better road-holding in the limit zone, while retaining the expected level of comfort for everyday use.

Aerodynamics/Interior: Crouching down and apparently smiling from the headlamps, the power of the front is emphasised by Steinmetz front grille Type II in honeycomb design with its vertical double strut and 2-piece front spoiler. Flowing transitions provide a pleasing uniformity. The front and rear sections are linked by the new Steinmetz designer stripes in silver or anthracite, and the aluminium filler cap sets a further accent. The interior is enhanced by the Steinmetz foot mats with stainless steel.

Wheel/tyre combination: Wheel and tyre combinations from 16″ to 19″ are available for the Corsa OPC by Steinmetz. The ST3 can be fitted in size 8.0J x 19“ and the ST4 in 8.0J x 18“. The ST4 is a bicolor wheel which fascinates observers thanks to its black/silver appearance, where its brilliance is the result of the polished finish. The resulting light interplay gives the desired effect which makes the wheel a true eyecatcher. All components together combine to create an everyday “race car” in which every kilometre driven is a kilometre more fun.

It makes a deeper and sportier tone than the standard system and at a volume that remains comfortable inside the car. The single triangular tailpipe completes the system by subtly but effectively enhancing the appearance of the rear of the car.

The full turbo-back system adds a large-bore downpipe and hi-flow sports catalyst to the cat-back system. The large-bore downpipe removes the pre-catalyst and the main catalyst is replaced by a hi-flow sports catalyst. Not only does this further reduce backpressure and substantially boost gas flow but also, because it’s located within close proximity to the turbo outlet, it allows the turbo to spool up quicker and earlier in the rev range. The use of a high-quality Platinum-coated stainless steel catalyst means that emissions levels are maintained within legal limits.

With only the Milltek Sport turbo-back exhaust system fitted, power gains of 8 to 12bhp have been recorded but when used in conjunction with a remap; Miltek have seen these gains soar to a massive 15bhp and 20lbs/ft of torque…on top of the remap. Extremely impressive gains from a relatively small engine!
