Irmscher has been working with General Motors product for over 40 years and they know its product well.

The customisation programme includes a radiator grille with honeycomb design and a smaller stainless steel bar with the word Irmscher written on it. It can also be ordered completely black. The Opel badge has been reduced in size and is placed lower on the grille. A front spoiler with a lower lip completes the front look.

Side skirts and a roof spoiler have been added for a touch of extra sport. The rear is highlighted by four stainless steel mufflers, two on each side and separated by an air diffuser. The wheels will be available in different patterns. The one in the picture is a light-alloy called Turbo Star because of its close resemblance to turbine blades and it has an 8×20 dimension.

Geneva 2009 will be the place where Irmscher takes the covers off this car.

The factory Insignia is available with a powerful turbo diesel and a smaller petrol turbo amongst others.
